Après avoir enseigné aux universités de Catanzaro et de Naples "Federico II", Laura Moscati est professeur titulaire d'histoire du droit médiéval et moderne depuis novembre 2004 et d'histoire du droit européen depuis novembre 2016 à la Sapienza Law School. Le professeur Moscati est directrice de l'école doctorale en sciences juridiques à la Sapienza Law School et membre du comité scientifique du programme de master en "droit privé européen". Représentante de l'Europe dans la gouvernance de l'université Sapienza, déléguée du doyen pour les affaires internationales de la faculté de droit Sapienza, elle est également membre du comité restreint du département des sciences juridiques et coordinatrice de la section d'histoire du droit italien. À la faculté de droit Sapienza, elle est responsable du programme de double diplôme en droit italien et français avec l'université de Paris Panthéon-Assas, du programme de diplôme multiple "Juriste Européen" de l'European Law School et des accords avec les universités américaines (Columbia Law School, Suffolk University, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Cornell University et Fordham University). Le professeur Moscati est membre à part entière de la "Società Romana di Storia Patria" et de la "Deputazione Subalpina di Storia Patria" ; membre à part entière, et membre du comité directeur de 2001 à 2007, de la "Società Italiana di Storia del Diritto" ; membre titulaire, et membre du comité directeur depuis 2009, de la "Société d'Histoire du Droit" ; depuis 2001 membre titulaire de la "Fondazione Sergio Mochi Onory per la Storia del diritto italiano" ; depuis 2019 membre honoraire de l'"Associazione Civilisti Italiani". Elle est également vice-directrice de la "Rivista di Storia del diritto italiano" ; membre du comité scientifique de la "Rivista italiana per le scienze giuridiche", de "Droits. Revue française de théorie, de philosophie et de culture juridiques", "Il diritto di autore", "Giustizia". De 2004 à 2009, elle a été membre du conseil scientifique de l'Université italo-française. Le professeur Moscati a mené de nombreuses activités de recherche et d'enseignement en Italie et à l'étranger, et a donné des conférences lors de congrès nationaux et internationaux ; elle a été Professeur Invité à l'Université de Montpellier (2006-2007), et depuis 2002, elle a été plusieurs fois Professeur Invité à l'Université de Paris Panthéon-Assas ; Depuis 2018, elle enseigne à l'université Humboldt de Berlin, en 2019 et 2023, elle est professeur invité à l'université Columbia et depuis 2019, elle est également professeur d'histoire du droit européen à l'université Zhongnan d'économie et de droit de Wuhan (Chine). After teaching at the Universities of Catanzaro and Naples “Federico II”, Laura Moscati is full professor of History of Medieval and Modern Law since November 2004 and History of European Law since November 2016 at Sapienza Law School. Professor Moscati is Director of the PhD School in Legal Sciences at Sapienza Law School and member of the scientific committee of the Master Programme in “European Private Law”. Representative for Europe in the Governance of Sapienza University, Dean’s delegate for the International Affairs of Sapienza Law School, she is also member of the Select Committee at the Department of Legal Sciences and coordinator of the Section of History of Italian Law. At Sapienza Law School she is in charge of the Double Degree Programme in Italian and French Law with the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas, of the multiple degree programme “Juriste Européen” of the European Law School and of the agreements with American universities (Columbia Law School, Suffolk University, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Cornell University and Fordham University). Professor Moscati is full member of the “Società Romana di Storia Patria” and of the “Deputazione Subalpina di Storia Patria”; full member, and member of the steering committee from 2001 to 2007, of the “Società Italiana di Storia del Diritto”; full member, and member of the steering committee since 2009, of the “Société d’Histoire du Droit”; since 2001 full member of the “Fondazione Sergio Mochi Onory per la Storia del diritto italiano”; since 2019 honorary member of the “Associazione Civilisti Italiani”. She is also vice-director of the “Rivista di Storia del diritto italiano”; member of the scientific committee of “Rivista italiana per le scienze giuridiche”, “Droits. Revue française de théorie, de philosophie et de culture juridiques”, “Il diritto di autore”, “Giustizia”. From 2004 to 2009 she has been member of the scientific board of the Italian-French University. Professor Moscati has carried out many research and teaching activities in Italy and abroad, and has held lectures in national and international congresses; she has been Professeur Invité at the University of Montpellier (2006-2007), and since 2002 she has been several times Professeur Invité at the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas; since 2018 she has taught at the Humboldt University of Berlin, in 2019 and 2023 she has been visiting professor at Columbia University and since 2019 she has also been professor of History of European Law at the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Wuhan (China).
