Start of the article :

The DSM Directive complements and extends certain boundaries to copyright. Its goal is to guarantee the legal security of various acts of exploitation, especially through digital networks, which will now, more or less, elude rights holders in the name of science, knowledge and culture. It tends to standardize these limitations in order to encourage the deployment of cross-border services within the EU.
