Detailed comments of the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) of December 9th, 2020 by which it annuls a judgment of the General Court of European Union and the decision in question of the European Commission (DG Comp) making mandatory the commitments taken by an American studio, on the basis of article 9 of regulation n° 1/2003, to put an end to contractual clauses concluded with European broadcasters intended to enforce by geo-blocking the territorial exclusivities granted for the exploitation of audiovisual and cinematographic works.
