Résumé :

Due to the abundance of material, it took two columns from Canada in 2014 to report on legislative and jurisprudential developments up to the end of 2012.  The current column takes stock of this landmark year in Canadian copyright law, focusing on decisions handed down by the country's courts.  Indeed, a number of important decisions dealt with key copyright concepts (reproduction, protection of characters, operation of the Copyright Board, fair dealing, Crown copyright, making-available right) in addition to focusing on technological neutrality.  Legislative developments have often been linked to the implementation of international instruments.  The conclusion looks to the future.
